Seniors: Monday, August 5 - Friday, August 9
Super Seniors: Monday, August 5 - Thursday, August 8

ELIGIBILITY
Senior: Open to female VSGA members who will be at least 50 years of age by August 5, 2024.
Super Senior: Open to female VSGA members who will be at least 65 years of age by August 5, 2024.
- All participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA member club in good standing.
- All participants must meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE
All players are required to submit an entry form with the entry fee of $260 by Monday, July 22, 2024.
- Entry fee includes all course fees (including cart) for the qualifying round and the first two rounds of match play.
- Players who continue play Thursday and Friday will be expected to pay their cart fee directly to the club before each day.
- The VSGA negotiated a discounted practice round fee of $59 plus tax with the host club.
SENIOR FORMAT
- 18-hole stroke play qualifying to determine flights and/or seeding for match play.
- Players must choose whether they wish to attempt to qualify for the Championship flight or not.
- The low 16 scorers of those players attempting to qualify for the Championship flight are placed in the Championship flight and are seeded by qualifying score (all players attempting to qualify for the Championship flight must complete the qualifying round).
- Remaining players will be flighted by Handicap Index and seeded within flights by qualifying score if the qualifying round is completed by all players in a given flight.
- If all players in a given flight do not complete the qualifying round, players in that flight will be seeded by Handicap Index.
- The Handicap Index the day before the first day of competition will be used.
- Those players losing their first-round match will be placed in a consolation flight.
Championship Proper
August 7 – Stroke play qualifying
August 8 – Round of 16 matches
August 9 – Quarterfinal matches (consolation matches begin)
August 10 – Semifinal matches
August 11 – Final matches
SUPER SENIOR FORMAT

FIELD SIZE/TOURNAMENT MAKE-UP
Senior: The field will be limited to 80 players.
Super Senior: The field will be limited to 48 players.
- If the number of entries exceeds the maximum allowable entrants, the field will be determined by low Handicap Index as of the deadline.
- A waiting list will be maintained if more players apply than the field size.
- Players on the waiting list as of the deadline will be prioritized by Handicap Index.
- All entrants after the deadline will be prioritized by date received.
- The Committee reserves the right to adjust the field and flight size based on the number of entries received, if necessary.
PRIZES
Senior
- The overall champion will have their name engraved on The Presidents’ Cup.
- The medalist’s name will be engraved on the Belle Allen Trophy and will receive a VSGA medal.
- All flight winners and finalists, including consolation flights, will be awarded prizes.
Super Senior:
- Prizes will be awarded to the overall champion and finalist.
- The medalist will receive a VSGA medal.
- All flight winners and finalists, including consolation flights, will be awarded prizes.
A prize will also be awarded to the club that has the most players competing in both events (senior and super senior combined).
